Design for hope
After relocating to Egypt in 2024, I resumed my creative practice as part of re-establishing my professional path. Re-engaging with design became a central focus during this transition.
While exploring Cairo’s art and design scene—through visits to bazaars, cultural events, and creative studios—and gradually rebuilding professional connections, I connected with the artist Reem Motasem (Remosa). Shared interests in art, culture, and design led to the development of a collaborative project. I contributed design concepts for purses and cushion covers inspired by Palestinian cultural references, which were hand-painted by the artist as initial prototypes.
This collaboration marks a meaningful new chapter in my practice, reflecting an ongoing commitment to thoughtful design and collaborative approaches that engage with Palestinian cultural heritage..
