My engagement with Arabic calligraphy began during my school years, under the guidance of a respected local calligrapher who introduced me to the principles and discipline of classical scripts. This early foundation laid the groundwork for a continuous exploration of the art form over the years, leading to a distinctive approach that integrates calligraphy into a wide range of design practices.

In my work, Arabic calligraphy is not limited to its traditional role as a form of handwriting—it becomes a visual language, an ornamental element, and a design tool that carries both cultural weight and aesthetic value. I apply it across disciplines, incorporating it into graphic design, jewellery, Tattoo, furniture, and product design, as well as creating visual identities and logos that resonate with cultural authenticity.

The process often involves abstracting or reshaping letters to form contemporary compositions, patterns, and structures, allowing the script to serve as both a carrier of meaning and a generator of form. This fusion of heritage and modernity transforms calligraphy into a medium capable of expressing identity, narrative, and artistry in equal measure.
