Hilya Collection
Handmade Jewellery Creations
Since 2000
Hilya, an Arabic word meaning “a single piece of jewellery,” is a collection of handcrafted silver jewellery inspired by Palestinian culture, traditional motifs, and the beauty of Arabic calligraphy. Ibrahim Muhtadi’s journey with jewellery began in Gaza City in 2000, when his uncle-a silversmith and mentor-established a modest workshop and introduced him to the craft. While studying Architecture, Ibrahim deepened his understanding of Palestinian cultural heritage, ornaments, and design traditions, which gradually became the foundation of his jewellery practice. Today, Hilya transforms these influences into contemporary pendants, earrings, bracelets, key chains, and other silver pieces that connect heritage, identity, and craftsmanship. From his studio in Brussels, Ibrahim's jewellery is showcased internationally and shipped worldwide.
